Up to 1996 BauBau Village was just a beach for ''human beings'' know as Bagni Sport. Elisabetta Dall'Orto, owner of the Resort, was allowing the dogs entrance on the beach, even if it was strictly forbidden by tha law, taking the risk of relevant penalties and any other sort of fees just to satissfye the dogs owners desire to spend their time at the Bagni Sport...

Following several police reports coming from both internal and external customer, Elisabetta went to the ENPA at Savona to acquire as many information as possible about the possibility to establish a beach resort open to any dogalong with its ''human'' owner.

Thanks to the Autorithy of Savona Port's and the personal effort of its Chief Commander Mr. Favi, an extremely sensitive to this matter person, the project was finally started in 1999 thanck to the help of Commander Mr. Tarantini and Commander Mr. Amorese, extraordinary people who helped Elisabetta through the entire project, the permission for swimmer finally arrived !
